TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FACTORY SERVICE

Non-Serviceable Product
Crown accepts no responsibility for non-serviceable product that is sent to us
for factory repair. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure their product is
serviceable prior to sending it to the factory.
Non-Serviceable product will be returned freight collect.
NEW Payment of Non-Warranty Repairs must be received within 30 days
Payment on out of warranty repairs must be received within 30 days of the repair
date. Units unclaimed after 30 days become the property of Crown Audio Inc.
Crown's Factory Service labor rate is $70.00 per hour.
NEW Estimate requests - All estimates must be approved within 30 days
Crown reserves the right to charge for estimates. Estimate approval must be
given within 30 days after being notified by Crown Audio Inc. Units still in
the possession of Crown after 30 days of the estimate will become the property
of Crown Audio Inc.
Amplifiers – An estimate represents the approximate repair cost. If the total repair charges are within 20% of the estimate provided, the technician will continue with the repair. You will be notified after the repair of your unit if prepayment is required. If the total repair charges will exceed the estimate by 20% or more, you will be notified of the findings and approval will need to be provided so the technician can continue with the repair.
Microphones – If after evaluating your microphone our technician feels the repair cost will exceed the replacement cost, we may offer you a replacement microphone at a nominal price. You may request an estimate of your microphone, but you will be responsible for the hourly labor rate ($70) to evaluate your microphone even if you choose to take a replacement microphone.
NEW Shipping Requirements
Crown Audio Inc. is not responsible for damages caused by poor packaging.
Damages caused by poor packaging are not covered under warranty.
Shipping instructions will be provided after you complete your SRA.
They are also in your owner's manual.
Crown reserves the right to determine the cause of damage.
